Adult Basic Education
This program prepares you to make the transition to secondary education or job preparation classes, it also helps you to meet personal goals. Basic skills include literacy (reading and writing) and computational skills necessary for functioning at levels comparable to students in the third through eighth grades.
Courses may be remedial for students or they may provide educational opportunities for students who speak, but do not read English.
Adult Secondary Education
High School Diploma Classes
A competency-based adult high school diploma program that provides an opportunity for students to earn a high school diploma, and enhance academic skills necessary for vocational training.
Classes meet 8:00am - 12:00pm, Monday through Thursday
5:30pm - 8:30pm, Monday through Thursday
Students interested in taking High School Diploma classes must take the CASAS assessment test. Placement assessments are offered 10:00 am – 12:00 pm Monday & Wednesday, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm Tuesday & Thursday and Thursday evening 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
